Consent comes first
Before anything is recorded, SOLIS shows a short script for the patient, in English or Spanish. The patient agrees out loud, or signs on the phone. The time and location of that consent are saved with the visit.
If the patient declines, nothing is recorded and you can type the note instead.
Where the audio goes
Your practice chooses the engine.
- On-device mode
- Audio stays on the phone. Speech recognition and speaker separation run on the phone after a one-time download of about 150 MB. Works offline.
- Cloud mode
- Used only when the practice turns it on. Transcription uses the Deepgram medical model, and Claude writes the note.
In either mode, the note contains only what was said. SOLIS does not add vitals or exam findings that were not said, and every diagnosis links to the words it came from.
Insurance cards and IDs
- Cards are read on the phone with Google ML Kit.
- Card photos are deleted after reading.
- From an SSN card, only the last 4 digits are kept. The full SSN is never stored.
Keys and vendors
Vendor keys never ship inside the app. They live on the SOLIS server, and the app reaches vendors through it. Eligibility checks, claims and claim status go through the Stedi clearinghouse.
Location
The visit record carries the real street address where the visit took place. If location is not available, the visit is saved without one rather than with a guessed address.
Business Associate Agreement
A BAA template is available for practices. Ask for it when you request early access, and we will send it with the pilot details.
What we do not claim
SOLIS is an Android app at version 1.0.0, in its pilot stage. We describe it as built for HIPAA workflows. We do not claim certifications it does not have.
About this website: the early-access form stores the details you send so we can reply. Please do not put patient information in the form.
